Shropshire Folktales

Amy has been commissionsed to compile a book of Shropshire Folktales for the History Press. The book will include thirty of the region’s stories and the marvellous Katherine Soutar of Dancing Cat Designs at Maws Craft Centre in Coalbrookdale has been commissioned for the front cover.

The book is due for publication in July 2010

Find Your Talent

Throughout April and May I’ll be working with archivist Liz Young, dancer Rose Gordon and choreographer Bettina Strickler on a fantastic ‘Find Your Talent’ project to celebrate the history, folklore and people of Newport.

We’ll be collaborating with several schools and community groups in Newport to gather, combine, retell and celebrate stories of Newport to inform the creation of a dance performance.
